Mary, Nick, and Vivian are very different, very flawed, and very close to their breaking points. They aren’t bad people they just dip into the worst sides of themselves to feel good. They’re also neighbours, and an upcoming community event forces their lives to intertwine, with poor results. Everything unravels for them as they manipulate, lie, and take massive risks to get what they want. There are no clear winners. Everyone loses. It feels good.

Eros is a one hour neo-noir that revolves around “The Petal”, a device that measures love—but will kill anyone who uses it twice. While investigating a strange death, Orvid, our detective, is pulled into a dark underworld of high stakes gamblers who use The Petal to bet on whether or not couples are in love. Part True Detective, part Westworld, with a sprinkling of Modern Love, Eros explores love, human frailty, faith, lust and mythology.
